Xindian Boys: Don't Worry, Baby

NTCAM On the Move — Sensing Nature

The New Taipei City Art Museum(NTCAM) launches the project “NTCAM On the Move” and stages the exhibition “Sensing Nature” in collaboration with the Tamsui Historical Museum and the 435 Art Zone this year, seeking to explore Tamsui, Banqiao and Pinglin along the river and trace the history of the city in the company of the river through art.

This exhibition attempts to situate YAO Jui-Chung’s Roaming Around the Ruins Series─The Civilization Built by Skeleton (1991-2005), a collection of New Taipei City Art Museum (NTCAM), as a centerpiece, where a dialogue transcending time and space is facilitated with the works of three other groups of contemporary artists, including LI Tzi-Mei, LIU Yu and Meuko! Meuko! X NAXS Corp. YAO’s work also encourages audiences further readings of the other nine works from NTCAM collection.
