This project takes place in the corridors on the 4th and 6th floors of the museum. Titled On the Loop, the inaugural exhibition responds to the corridor’s dynamic nature with an investigation of sound that reframes the relationship between sound and space. Here, sound is no longer merely an auditory experience, but a visualized, concretized journey. It serves not just as background, but as a medium that drives perception and interaction.
Six interdisciplinary sound and music artists have come together to create an immersive listening experience. Through audio installations and spatial arrangements, a multilayered and inclusive sensory environment is conjured, where melody becomes a bridge, guiding the viewer through the resonant corridors of listening and perception, opening up new avenues for sound, space, and the self.
Through carefully curated playlists, the artists and musicians invite the viewer to let go of distractions and immerse themselves in the flow of sound, drifting between the present and the infinite through harmony. Whether seeking tranquility and inspiration, or simply indulging in the arresting soundscape, the viewer embarks on a journey of sonic and perceptual exploration through the NTCAM Corridor Project: On the Loop.
