“Xing Tu” (行土) and “Zou Ni” (走泥), both meaning “walking the clay” literally, are terms used by potters to refer to their profession. Based on the imagery of “walking and shaping the clay,” this work creates a “kiln corridor,” where the public can “have a leisure walk.” Together with scattered brick-built pottery bottles and urns in enormous sizes, the work constitutes an experience of physical action in the site.
