While Water Enters the City

The park of New Taipei City Art Museum was built on high banks of the Dahan River. On one side is the Yingge River which runs through Yingge before passing through the gravel treatment facilities that filter pollution from the river. Later it meets the Dahan River under the Sanying Bridge. The other side is the Sanying Water Recycling Center which handles nearby household wastewater.

Water—One of the basic requirements for human survival and urban development.

Come and listen…from the river capture geological events of long ago, through the rise and fall of the age of water transport, to the use of water facilities by economies of different eras to tamper with the water-based environments. Finally, through sound, we can transform ourselves into the wastewater flowing from each household to enter the artificial water recycling system.
